Adrian (boy)

  • Strong, masculine, with an enormous heart. A name that works well with a Hispanic or an English surname. You can't go wrong with Adrian.
  • A great name for a guy.  It means "dark one" and I think an Adrian would be a poet, mysterious and intense.
  • It's a very English-sounding unisex name, with nicknames Ade and Aidy. Adrian would be a dignified adult name and it has a very intellectual image.
  • Adrian Hunter
Adrian is an adorable name for a little boy but it ages well with a child-and Hunter is one of my all time favs!

The name Adrian is an English form of the Latin name Hadrianus meaning, "man from Hadria." Hadria was a town in Northern Italy. Some scholard speculate that this town's name may come from a word meaning "black."
